What the updates cover
Updates concern technical publications, standards and quality subjects, opportunities for participation, learning activities and Institute news. Select the topics relevant to your work rather than subscribing as part of an unrelated business request.
Delivery and scope
News subscriptions concern the selected communications. They are separate from messages needed to administer an application, contract or registered activity. Subscription does not confer membership or access rights to separately controlled resources.
Your subscription
Provide the email address at which you wish to receive updates. Optional profile information should be limited to what is useful for the selected service. Check the address before submitting.
Topic preferences
Choose the subjects you want to receive. Changes to preferences apply to the subscription associated with the verified email address. They do not change the content or obligations of an assessment or membership relationship.
Email confirmation
Where confirmation is required, follow the link sent to the submitted address. A request to subscribe is separate from a confirmed subscription. Use the confirmation message only for the address and purpose stated in it.
Change or end a subscription
Use the preference or unsubscribe route associated with your subscription. Ending news updates does not prevent communications necessary for a service you have requested. If a preference link fails, use the contact route and identify the subscription concerned.
Personal information
The privacy notice explains the use of subscription information and the route for personal-data questions. Optional news consent is not a condition of submitting a business enquiry.
