Application scope

Apply for a defined technical subject or contribution. Read the relevant task or group remit and the contribution requirements. An application is a request for consideration, not an appointment or a professional certification.

Contact and professional details

Provide your name, a contact address and the professional information relevant to the task. State whether you apply personally or with authority from an organisation. Private contact details are not intended for a public profile.

Field and experience

Identify your technical fields and give examples of relevant work. Explain your involvement, the period and the relationship of that experience to the proposed task. Qualifications and affiliations should be described accurately.

Proposed contribution

Describe the subject, group or output to which you could contribute and the work you would be able to perform. Include relevant availability or restrictions without making commitments for another organisation unless authorised.

Supporting information

Provide a concise professional record or other evidence requested by the form. Do not supply identity documents, confidential employer information or third-party personal information unless specifically necessary and requested through an appropriate route.

Declaration of interests

Identify employment, advisory roles, financial interests or other relationships that may affect the task. Disclosure allows appropriate consideration; it does not automatically determine acceptance or rejection.

Information handling

Application information is used for consideration and related correspondence under the privacy notice. Permission to publish a profile, photograph or affiliation is considered separately from submission of an application.
