Institutional reporting
Institutional reports provide a record of approved information about the Institute's work, governance and use of resources. Their purpose is to make the reporting period and the basis of the information clear.
Reports
A report record identifies its title, reporting period, approval status and available version. Activity figures are read with the definitions and reference dates used in that report. A strategic target is distinguished from a recorded result.
Accounts and governing information
Financial and governing material is made available according to the legal form and applicable disclosure arrangements. The document's description identifies whether it is an approved account, an institutional statement or another type of information.
Period and approval
Publication date, reporting period and approval date may differ. Those dates should be considered together when using a report. Approval of a report does not change the original date of an activity or technical decision.
Versions and access
Use the document record to identify the current edition and the form in which it is available. A correction is linked to the version affected so that readers can understand the change.
Historical material
Historical reports retain their reporting context. Older figures and descriptions should not be taken as a statement of current personnel, institutional relationships or the status of a particular assessment result.
Ask about a report
Give the report title, period and the passage or figure concerned. Requests for clarification, accessible formats or permission to reproduce material can be directed through the contact page.
