Search the website

Enter a subject, document title or reference. Specific terms usually give a more useful result than a broad expression such as quality. An issued-result identifier should be checked through the verification service.

Narrow your results

Use content type and topic filters to separate publications, work information, events and other pages. Clear filters if they exclude the kind of information you need. Search does not include private applications or confidential project information.

Search tips

Check spelling and try the document reference or a more specific technical term. A publication's title may differ from the name commonly used for its subject. The glossary can help distinguish related terminology.

Read a result

Open the result to read its complete context. A short search extract may omit scope, conditions or limitations. It should not be used as evidence of a formal result or current programme requirement.

Types, editions and dates

Publication and event results identify relevant type and date information. Check the detail record for edition, status and current arrangements. An older item may explain history without describing the current position.

No relevant result

Try fewer filters or a different term. No search result does not establish that a document is false or that a requirement does not exist. Questions about an issued record should use the verification route.

Ask for help

Give the subject, reference or task and explain what you are trying to find. For an existing request, include its reference rather than making a new unrelated search enquiry.
