Technical events

Events provide a setting for discussion of standards application, quality methods and technical evidence. Each activity identifies its purpose and intended participants. A technical exchange is distinct from a formal assessment or an approval meeting unless specifically constituted as such.

Current activities

Use the current event record to establish date, format and participation status. An announcement elsewhere may be older. The event's own arrangements govern applications, eligibility and confirmation.

Dates, time zones and format

Online and in-person arrangements identify the relevant time zone and location or access method. Compare the session time with your own location before making arrangements. A multi-session activity may have different times for separate sessions.

Read the event information

The event record brings together its theme, agenda, speakers, fees and conditions. Speaker affiliation describes the stated participation and does not imply endorsement of the Institute or agreement with all contributions.

Participation

A registration may be subject to capacity, eligibility or other stated conditions. A received application is not necessarily a confirmed place. Payment and cancellation arrangements are read before any commitment is made.

Past activity material

Past event records provide authorised agendas, materials or recordings where available. Their content is read in the context of the date and event. A recording is not automatically an adopted Institute position.

Choose an event

Read the complete record and use its participation route. A question about arrangements should identify the event and the matter that needs clarification.
