Request guidance and conditions

Select the subject

Choose the type that best describes your request. Product quality, assessment, membership, training, media, permissions, accessibility and personal-data matters have different information needs. A formal complaint or appeal uses its dedicated procedure.

Related work or record

Include a programme, publication, event, course or document reference if the question concerns a particular item. For an existing request, use the reference previously assigned.

Contact information

Provide your name and an email address for correspondence. Add your organisation if relevant and state whether you act on behalf of another person or organisation.

Scope of the request

For technical work, describe the object, intended use, relevant market or contractual context and the decision to be supported. For administrative matters, identify the relationship and the specific information needed.

Message and supporting material

Explain the question and include proportionate evidence. Do not submit passwords, unnecessary identity documents, sensitive personal information or an extensive confidential technical file. A separate arrangement may be required for protected material.

Information and optional updates

The privacy notice explains how enquiry information is handled. Optional news updates are a separate choice. A business request must not be treated as permission for unrelated marketing.

Send the enquiry

Check the subject, reference and contact address. After submission, retain the confirmation reference. A confirmed receipt means that the enquiry has been recorded; it is not a quotation, an agreement to undertake work or an assessment decision.

Further correspondence

Use the reference when following up or providing requested information. If the form cannot record the request, follow the displayed retry or alternative contact instructions rather than assuming delivery.
