Training for a defined team
Organisational training starts with the work participants do and the difficulties they need to address. Identify the functions involved, existing experience and intended changes in practice. A shared title does not mean every participant has the same needs.
Technical subjects
Subjects follow the defined training capability and may concern standards application, evidence review, supplier quality, traceability or laboratory practice. The scope identifies what the training covers and the depth appropriate to the group.
Needs and learning outcomes
The proposed programme connects needs with observable learning outcomes. It distinguishes awareness, practical application and any assessed task. Where examples use organisational information, their suitability and permission are agreed.
Delivery
Format, duration, group arrangements and materials are agreed for the activity. Online, in-person and mixed delivery can require different preparation. Accessibility or participation requirements should be raised early enough to consider appropriate arrangements.
Tutors and materials
The teaching assignment requires relevant subject knowledge and an appropriate approach for the audience. Materials identify their technical basis. Use of external standards or proprietary information remains subject to the relevant rights.
Assessment and records
The arrangements state whether participation, completion or an assessed outcome is recorded. Training is separate from an independent certification decision and cannot promise a particular result in another programme.
Discuss your needs
Provide the technical subject, participants' roles, approximate group size, current experience and desired outcome. Include preferred format and timing as requirements for discussion rather than confirmed arrangements.
